The airport is in Port-Bouët, about 20 minutes from Le Plateau without traffic. We meet arrivals with a name sign and the transfer starts at 55 euros, night flights included.

Flying to Abidjan, and what happens when you land.

There are no direct flights to Abidjan from the UK, and none from most of Europe — you connect, usually in Paris, Brussels, Casablanca or Istanbul. Into the city

No direct flight — build in the connection

From London, Paris is the quickest connection at around eight to nine hours in total; Brussels, Casablanca and Istanbul all work and are often cheaper. From New York expect one or two stops via Paris, Casablanca or Addis Ababa. Leave a generous buffer at the transfer: if you miss the connection, the next flight to Abidjan is frequently the following day.
