Ivory Coast visa: the e-visa, step by step.

Most visitors need a visa, and the process catches people out in two places: the application is online but the visa itself is issued on arrival, and there are dozens of agency sites reselling the same thing at a markup. This page walks through the official route, the documents, the timings and the mistakes that cost money. It is what we tell clients who ask; it is not legal advice, so check the current position with an Ivorian embassy before you apply.

Only one website is official
The Ivorian state recognises a single platform for e-visa applications: snedai.com/e-visa. Numerous agency sites sell the identical application at €107 or more instead of €73. Filling it in yourself takes about twenty minutes and you pay only the official fee.
