Vaccinations for Ivory Coast: what is required, what is advised.

One vaccination is compulsory, several are recommended, and the most important protection is not a vaccination at all but how you handle mosquitoes. This page sets out what to do and when, and what to watch with food and water once you are there — without talking you out of Ivorian cooking, which is one of the best reasons to come. This is our experience, not medical advice: see a travel doctor before you fly.

No yellow fever certificate, no entry
Yellow fever vaccination is compulsory for entry and it is checked — at the visa desk and again at passport control. Without the entry in your international certificate you will be refused, with no exception and no way to sort it on arrival. It must have been administered at least ten days before you enter.
