Man: mountains, waterfalls and the liana bridges of the west.

Man lies in a bowl of eighteen mountains and is the gateway to the most dramatic landscape in the country: rainforest, waterfalls, views across to Guinea and Liberia, the Dan mask culture with its stilt dancers, and the famous bridges woven from living lianas. It is also the hardest drive — 580 kilometres, a full day, and no fun without ground clearance.

We plan this region with you
The west is not a place to improvise. The tracks are demanding, the ways to the bridges and waterfalls are unsigned, and sacred sites are entered only with someone local. We recommend a driver who knows the route — €30 a day on top of the SUV. Tell us what you want to see and we will plan it.
